Theme: "How to be a Healthy Leader" by Jimmy Dodd from Pastor Serve
Speaker: Jimmy Dodd
After 20 years of serving as a pastor, Jimmy Dodd formalized his ministry to other pastors in 1999 by founding Pastor Serve. While Jimmy has a deep love for the local church, Pastor Serve provides the perfect vehicle to follow God’s extended call to serve the broader church at large.
A well-known and respected speaker, Jimmy is the author of “Survive or Thrive” and “Pastors are People Too”. He is a graduate of Wheaton College and Gordon-Conwell Seminary.
Jimmy has had the privilege of making more than 125 trips to train leaders in Third World countries. Jimmy and his wife Sally have five children, one daughter in law and two grand children. Two of their daughters were adopted from China.
The Mission: The mission of the Rocky Mountain District is to serve, equip, and encourage church leaders and churches to live out their mission and our mission together as a district. Our mantra is "We're Better Together," because we know we can do more for Christ together than alone.
The RMD Fall Conference serves as an opportunity for the Rocky Mountain District Churches to unite and focus on this mission. Our goal is to come alongside church leaders by providing worship, speakers, and breakout sessions that will inspire, equip, and encourage all who attend.
