Children's and Family Ministries

A SHIFING FOCUS IN FAMILY/CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES!  

The RMD Annual Conference included for the first time a Family/Children’s Ministries Affinity Group called, “The Battle for the Faith of the Next Generation”.  What a great success it was with a total of 44 people from around the district attending one or more of our sessions!  The RMD Task Force sponsored this event, teaching and/or leading all of the sessions.  Here is some of the feedback we received after the conference:   

          “Thank you very much for a very equipping and encouraging time. . . I will go          back to my church with some great ideas on how to better help equip our    parents and marriages!  I am also encouraged that there are others wanting     to champion the biblical mandate of Deut 6 to the church!  

            "Thank you for your workshop at the District Conference.  It really blessed me to see how much your team and vision has grown over the last several years. You’ve got a great team and I’m excited for the future.  The resources were             excellent and I’m excited about seeing us get to the next level.

                “The family group at the RMD Conf was so helpful. We are interested in developing an approach                to ministry that is appropriate for our setting.”
